Source Code (Blu-ray) – Directed by Duncan Jones, Source Code tells the story of a U.S. Army Captain (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) who wakes up to find he is part of an experiment that allows him to enter the mind of someone who might hold the answer to a terrorist attack. He can only enter the last eight minutes of the person’s life so he is forced to go back in again and again until he finds all the clues. Source Code is a great sci-fi thriller that doubles as a classic mind trip and proves that Jones is becoming one of the great directors of our time. Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, Jeffrey Wright, and Canadian comedian Russell Peters also star. If you’re going to pick this up, Blu-ray is the way to go. The crystal clear HD image and 5.1 DTS-HD sound mix help amplify the intensity of the film and make it a must-own.
