There’s a new ‘LEGO City Undercover’ game coming out (and it’s not just for Nintendo)

LEGO City Undercover

The new LEGO City Undercover will be available for the XBOX One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and on PC this spring.

Warner Bros. Interactive dropped a trailer Thursday for its brand new version of LEGO City Undercover, which will be available this spring for the XBOX One, PS4 and the new Nintendo Switch.

The original LEGO City Undercover was an exclusive on the Nintendo Wii U when it came out in 2013 and is still one of the best games on the system today. The vast open-world gameplay is equally fun for kids and adults, with loads of humour and exciting missions. The 2017 version appears to be very similar and should port over well to these next-gen gaming systems.

SEGA releasing two new Sonic the Hedgehog games in 2017

Sonic Mania

2017 is shaping up to be the year of Sonic.

At an event during San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, SEGA announced two new games are coming in 2017 featuring the speedy blue creature.

First up is the 2D retro-style platform game Sonic Mania, which uses re-imagined Zones and Acts from Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles. To keep it interesting, it also adds new Zones, Acts and bosses.

Sonic Mania was born out of our fans’ love of the classic Sonic 2D platform games,” Takashi Iizuka, Head of Sonic Team, said in a statement. “This type of collaboration is a first for SEGA and we hope everyone will be both surprised and delighted by this title.”

Sonic Mania will be available digitally for the PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC spring 2017.
